2008 Easter Classic

Sunday 23th March 2008, Chindaarah Downs, Chindaarah.

The RCPGA would like to thank all members for their participation in the 2008 Easter Classic. Member turnout was superb with journeys from near (UK) and far (Kingscliff) adding a truly international feel to the celebrations.

Easter Classic 2008 Results:

	Royal Chindaara Easter Classic Champions Trophy Hand crafted by local artesian Mr Greg "Golf" Richardson, the Champions trophy is awarded to the best Team performance. 2008 Winner: Team Danica (Danica, Cliff, Dean, Phoebe, Nel)
	Royal Chindaara Easter Classic Best And Fairest This trophy is awarded to the best and fairest individual golfer. 2008 Winner: Phoebe
	Royal Chindaara Easter Classic award for the Best Dressed Player The Best Dressed Player trophy is awarded to the player deemed to exhibit immaculate dress sense. 2008 Winner: Damon and Alison
	Royal Chindaara Easter Classic Cosmic Pixie award for the Most Eloquent Player The Most Eloquent Player trophy is awarded to the player deemed to exhibit class, eloquence and unique dress sense. 2008 Winner: John

Association Presidency

In accordance with the Association charter ammendments of 2007 the conclusion of the 2008 Classic saw the RCPGA Presidency start it's annual rotation.  Members witnessed the swearing in of new RCPGA President, The Right Honourable M. Slawson who was humble in accepting this most dutiful of offices:


The outgoing President  D. Slawson joins the illustrious ranks of past presidents; Right Sometime Honourable S. Willers, Right Dishonourable K. Hulse.

Best Dressed Competition:

Members competed in two dress award categories:

1. Best Dressed Player - the player deemed to exhibit immaculate dress sense and love of VB.
2. Cosmic Pixie Most Eloquent Player - the player deemed to exhibit class, eloquence, unique dress sense and love of VB.
